The band was Bartees Strange and his backing band. The song was Heavy Heart. And here we are now. For me, Heavy Heart was the best song of 2022. It's raw. It's hard. It's soothing. It's contemplative. It's everything I love about music in 3 minutes, 34 seconds.

The album, Farm to Table, is an eclectic collection of songs from a much needed up and coming voice of rock music. I could explain every song and further explain my love for this album but I'll leave it here. This one demands to be listened to.

And hey, it's only 34 minutes. Not much of a commitment at all. But if you get to the end, I'm pretty sure you'll be starting at the beginning. Back to Heavy Heart. And loving it.
